Gariwerd Dreaming Theatre
The Gariwerd Dreaming Theatre presents two award winning presentations.
The 'Gariwerd Creation Story' depicts the Aboriginal legend of Tchingal the giant emu and Waa the crow and the formation of the Grampians/Gariwerd mountains.
'Gariwerd a Cultural Landscape' illustrates the geology, flora and fauna, Aboriginal and European history and the various uses of the Grampians. The theatre is open daily, presentations are shown hourly and admission prices show both presentations.
Learn about this unique implement and try your own hand at throwing and catching a boomerang with guidance from a cultural officer.
Bushfoods Discovery Walk
Join a guided walk around the native gardens and wetlands to discover the diversity of plants of Gariwerd and learn their traditional indigenous uses. This activity includes a bush tucker tasting at the Bushfoods Cafe.
